The critical reception around Kingsglaive has largely been negative, though there are some glowing reviews. The 4K cutscenes are also not 4K, but 1080p upscaled. Visually it looks similar to 125% scaling, but without the performance cost. I currently have 4x AA and MFAA enabled in the control panel with TAA enabled in-game.
VXAO handles the same task and does a better job of it in general, and while it might be a bit expensive, turn off base AO and it's a negligible cost.Īlso, additional AA can be enabled in the NVIDIA control panel that makes the game look MUCH better at 1080p and thereabouts.
